How to resolve a Server CPU Utilized per Instance alert

As CPU usage spikes on your Enterprise Server, processing may slow down or even come to a stop. If Clarity sends an alert, quickly check your system for these common culprits:

Call Object Kernels may have too many users.
There may also be outstanding requests on Call Object Kernels.
Reports or applications may be generating open connections to the database. These can hog CPU resources as long as they remain open.
