Clarity is an agentless solution, but it does rely on a central “collector” within the installation environment. The collector gathers and processes metric data then securely transfers it to the ERP Suites cloud. The collector is installed as two Windows services and consumes 500MB of disk space. Typically, installations are done on the JDE deployment server. However, any Windows system, 2012 or above, with access to all the necessary servers will work.
Setup requirements include:
- Windows Server 2012 or greater
- Local admin rights
- Network access to ERP servers
- JDE Server Manager credentials with console_admin access
- Outbound access to uacollector.erpinternal.com and collector.erpinternal.com
